Their comments speak volumes. Thank you for sharing them. People forget that there is still a person in there who deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. And love most of all.

It is so difficult when we see our formerly vibrant parent as an empty shell, knowing there is still a real person inside. My mother died of TIA dementia in 2004 and my father has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Glad I found your blog. I have bookmarked it so I can come back and visit.
